Looking for an easy snack that is healthy and tasty?  Look no farther...

Hummus
(recipe originally from Sunset's "Hors d'oeuvres")

1 can (15oz) garbanzo beans (drain most of the liquid)
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
2 tablespoon sesame oil (in a pinch, you could use olive oil, but it won't turn out quite the same)
3 tablespoon lemon juice
1 large garlic clove
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper, to taste

Dump everything into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.  See?  Easy.  Very, very easy.

Serve with French bread.  Or pita.  Or chips.  Or crackers.  Or veggies.

The only limit is your imagination.

Today is somebody's birthday.

Somebody who is fabulous company for hours and hours of bathroom cleaning.

Somebody who helped deal a fatal blow to the "California girl" stereotype that we sometimes ran into at school.  ;)

Somebody who knows how to keep her hands busy making beautiful things.

Somebody who just happens to be my friend...

Michelle, you are an absolutely amazing friend.  I love you!

Here's a song I'm really liking right now: Healing Begins

On that note (no pun intended), adios!  Happy Tuesday!
